About Me:

I was born and raised in San Diego, California. Growing up in San Diego allowed me to experience and pursue a wide variety of interests. The majority of these interests have joined forces with my strong entrepreneurial drive and have developed into businesses. At 14 I turned my passion for photography into a freelance profession. What first started as surf photography has
now turned into a vast range of subject areas, please see my website (www.jakebrenner.com) for samples of my work.
Since I can remember I have loved helicopters, even to this day I will stop and stare in awe as one flies by. When I was 18 I was able to turn my life long goal into a reality. While going to school full-time I
attended flight school at Civic Helicopters. Eventually becoming the youngest student to successfully go through their program, I received my FAA Private Pilot Certification for Rotorcraft within 5 months.

After flight school I transferred to California Polytechnic University in San Luis Obispo, California. I pursued a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. Cal Poly’s “learn by doing” motto was something that I found invaluable and attribute a lot of my success in school to this style of learning. The knowledge I gained in the classroom was then applied to my entrepreneurial spirit and used in my photography, djing, and job at Apple Inc. Upon graduation I was recognized as an “Outstanding Marketing Senior”, one of fourteen students among the department.

Over my past years at school and in the workforce I have developed a strong belief in the idea that if you work hard enough for something you can achieve it, nothing is impossible. Every project that I pursue I put my all into and don’t give up until the desired result is reached.
